90 year-old Tony Bennett will perform with Beyonce
Tony Bennett, a veteran crooner, who is now 90 years old, is scheduled to perform with Beyonce on his 90th birthday. He has worked with some of the most renowned musicians in the industry, such as Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, and the late Natalie Cole.
This will be the first time the two perform together, and the 90 year-old hopes that he will get a chance to record a song with her. On a U.S breakfast show, Tony said that he admires her skills and resilience. Lady Gaga may be in a position to help Tony get a chance to make his dream come true. Tony also hopes to work with the Lady Gaga who won a Grammy Award for Cheek to Cheek in 2014, which featured jazz standards.
Reports have also indicated that, despite his age, Tony does not plan to stop singing any time soon. His previous duo with Lady Gaga was a success and the two plan to do another project together. In a media briefing, Tony said, “She has a terrific talent”.
